Turning School into a Quest
Starting last year, I endeavored to transform my classroom into a self-paced, quest-based learning system. The results: I spend more 1:1 time with students, less time in front of the room, and less time "catching students up" from absences. This is all because of student choice and self- pacing, project-based learning embedded in each quest, and the opportunity to redo quest-stops until they attain mastery. Join me as I share my journey from planning to final evaluation. I'll also share the variety of platforms and tools you can use to adapt this to your own classroom. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1xz50T6sYFcaNB3771cKrYwDIM-HVdl4xQwvFFwLd1lw/edit#slide=id.g37e8d93cc0_0_92
